Who visits
Architects, interior designers, builders, contractors and dealers. Many are specifying products for a project, so they often ask for technical sheets and samples rather than placing an order at the stall.
Before you go
A few things worth sorting out before the first day, based on what buyers at this kind of show usually ask for.
- Have technical data, sizes and finishes for every product, not only photos.
- Be ready to send samples or arrange a site visit, and note who asked.
- Capture the project name, city and stage. Specifications can take months to become orders.
- Put dimensions, materials and finishes next to every product. Designers ask for these first.
- Have finish or fabric options ready to show on a phone, not only as physical swatches.
- Be clear about minimum order quantities and lead times for project orders.
